GRAINE Responsibility
A philosophy where we bring in a strong process and method to consciously hand-pick raw material and extend our design capabilities to elevate GRAINE’s long standing philosophy of consciously eclectic. Our current obsession is to repurpose the discarded tyre tubes in the wake of hundreds of cycle rickshaw that were thrown to dumps in. Having worked closely with the clusters in Lucknow and understanding the form driven capabilities of the chikankaari craftsmanship has led us to rendering it a new form.
Working with clusters in Varanasi the GRAINE awake collection embodies our research and development in textile by showing age old textiles anew.
GRAINE Portrait

The range of apparel revolves around the philosophy of graine eclectic where textile of meaning is elevated, surface design is brought in translation and form is drafted to design occasion wear that is relevant in the present. With GRAINE awake, GRAINE creates the contemporary philosophy finding permutations and combinations to each piece in order to deliver multiple looks. Investing in a singular piece of bold emphasis makes for a valuable wardrobe addition.
